Santo Antonio Golf and Spa Resort is an exclusive resort set among mature trees in the hills and valleys of the Western Algarve. It comprises approximately 300 privately-owned residences split between town houses centred around the spa, and detached villas set in their own grounds. The local airport is Faro and it’s only 1 hour 15 minutes’ drive to the resort; mainly on the A22 motorway.
Reception
The Resort reception is at the main entrance. On arrival at Santo Antonio call in to reception to collect your keys and directions to MyVilla6. The reception is manned until 18.00 hours. For later arrivals we can offer a security box provided we are informed beforehand. The staff are local and very knowledgeable and can arrange any extras if you have not already pre-booked them. They can arrange taxi services (payable locally) to collect you direct from MyVilla6 to take you for a night out if you don’t want to drive. There is also an Italian restaurant open in the peak season alongside reception. You can eat in, or order a takeaway.
Tennis Academy
There are four courts available to suit all levels. There are two hard courts and two “Masters” artificial grass courts. There are tailored tennis lessons available for juniors and beginners and these are bookable locally. There is also a weekly round robin series which can be booked at reception which enables a guest single player to be fully involved.
Supermarket
Two minutes by car from the resort entrance is a large well stocked supermarket offering high quality fresh local produce along with all the other favourite fresh and frozen food. It stocks a comprehensive range of wines and beers. It also has a petrol filling station. If you feel as though you need to earn your evening meal you can walk it in 15 minutes, but beware, it’s 20 minutes to return because it’s uphill, but you will be able to reward yourself with the chilled drink you’ve just bought.
